A little history...

1977, Christmas.  I was eight years old, and my mother bought me The Basic Set that year.  I don't know that I'd even heard of it at that point - buy my mother had, and though she didn't quite understand what was needed (ie, players) she knew enough to feel it would be good for my imagination. 

Obviously, she was right.

Years went by, though iterations of D&D and AD&D and then other games.  Superheroics, Western, Scifi, other fantasy games, eventually humour and all the way through the "horror" games of the late 80s and early 90s. 

I started running games early on, to horrible results; it wasn't until I was about 15 that I had an epiphany and realised that it was about story and plot and player fun more than numbers and dungeon crawls and hit points and treasure. 

Here, in this subdomain, you will find records, characters, links, thoughts, essays, and even a forum that I will be running online games at (and links to other places where I run or play games, as such is the case.) 

Current Gaming

I'm running GK:1943, which is about to begin "issue" 4 (of 5).

I'm playing Duras Swiftwater in HORSELORDS OF THE ENDLESS PLAINS, a HERO FANTASY game run on LOST COAST GAMING.

I'm soon to be playing FBI Agent Frank Drake in THE EL DORADO DIRECTIVE, a PULP HERO game run on LOST COAST GAMING.
